Gary Carter Field Dedication

Dedicated to

Gary Edmund Carter

April 8, 1954 – February 16, 2012

For a lifetime of baseball success with

West Fullerton Little League, Fullerton Pony Baseball League,

Sunny HillsHigh School and Major League Baseball.

Gary played catcher for 21 years in the Majors with four teams.

Nicknamed “Kid” for his youthful exuberance, he was an All-Star 11 times

and won the 1986 World Series Championship with the New York Mets.

Gary was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003.
